കൊല്ക്കൊത്ത: ദേശീയ പണിമുടക്കിനിടെ പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാളില് സി.പി.എം- തൃണമൂല് കോണ്ഗ്രസ് സംഘര്ഷവും രൂക്ഷമായ സാഹചര്യത്തില് ബസ് ഡ്രൈവര്മാരുടെ സുരക്ഷയ്ക്ക് പുതിയ തന്ത്രവുമായി സര്ക്കാര് രംഗത്തെത്തി. സമരത്തെ നേരിടുമെന്ന് നേരത്തെ അറിയിച്ച സര്ക്കാര് ബസുകള് നിരത്തിലിറക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ബസുകള്ക്ക് നേരെ ആക്രമണം ഉണ്ടാകാനുള്ള സാഹചര്യം മുന്നില് കണ്ട് ഡ്രൈവര്മാരുടെ സുരക്ഷ ഉറപ്പാക്കുകയാണ് സര്ക്കാര്.
ബസ് ഡ്രൈവര്മാര് ഹെല്മറ്റ് ധരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് മാത്രമേ ബസ് ഓടിക്കാവൂവെന്ന് സര്ക്കാര് വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. രാവിലെ കൊല്ക്കൊത്ത ബസ് സ്റ്റാന്ഡില് നിന്നും പുറപ്പെടുന്ന ബസിലെ ഡ്രൈവര്മാര് എല്ലാം ഹെല്മറ്റ് ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്.

അതിനിടെ, പണിമുടക്കിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി റോഡ് ഉപരോധിച്ച് പ്രതിഷേധിച്ച സി.പി.എം നേതാവ് സുജന് ചക്രബര്ത്തി അടക്കമുള്ളവരെ പോലീസ് അറസ്റ്റു ചെയ്തുനീക്കി.
