അഴിമതി എന്ന പാപം ചെയ്യരുതെന്ന് അമ്മ പറഞ്ഞു; ഏറെ സ്വാധീനിച്ച ഉപദേശം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി നരേന്ദ്രമോദി

മുംബൈ: അഴിമതി എന്ന പാപം ഒരിക്കലും ചെയ്യരുതെന്ന് അമ്മ ഹീരാബെൻ തന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞതായും അത് തന്നെ വളരെയേറെ സ്വാധീനിച്ചതായും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്രമോദി. ഹ്യുമൻസ് ഓഫ് ബോംബെക്ക് നൽകിയ ജീവിത കഥാ പരമ്പരയിൽ നാലാമത്തേതിലാണ് ജീവിതത്തിൽ അമ്മ നൽകിയ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ഉപദേശങ്ങളിലൊന്ന് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. ഞാൻ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയായപ്പോൾ അമ്മക്ക് അത് എങ്ങനെയാണ് അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടത് എന്ന് ഒരുപാട് പേർ ചോദിക്കാറുണ്ട്. പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയായതിനേക്കാൾ നാഴികക്കല്ലായി അമ്മക്ക് തോന്നിയത് ഗുജറാത്ത് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയായതാണ്.അന്ന് ഞാൻ ഡൽഹിയിലാണ് താമസിച്ചിരുന്നത്. സത്യപ്രതിജ്ഞ ചെയ്യുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് ഞാൻ അമ്മയെ കാണാൻ അഹമ്മദാബാദിൽ ചെന്നു. ഞാൻ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയാകുന്നുവെന്ന് അറിയാമെന്നതല്ലാതെ ആ പദവി എന്താണെന്നതിനേക്കുറിച്ച് കൂടുതലൊന്നും അമ്മയ്ക്ക് അറിയുമെന്ന് തോന്നിയില്ല. സഹോദരന്റെ വീട്ടിലാണ് അമ്മ അന്ന് താമസിച്ചിരുന്നത്. ആഘോഷകരമായ ആ അന്തരീക്ഷത്തിൽ എന്നെ കണ്ടയുടനെ അമ്മ കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചു. ശേഷം ഗുജറാത്തിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചു വന്നതാണ് ഏറ്റവും വലിയ കാര്യമെന്നാണ് അന്ന് അമ്മ പറഞ്ഞത്. മറ്റു കാര്യങ്ങളേക്കാൾ പ്രധാനം അവർക്ക് മകന്റെ സാന്നിധ്യം അടുത്തുണ്ടാകുക എന്നതായിരുന്നു. അതിന് ശേഷം അവർ പറഞ്ഞു, നീ ചെയ്യുന്നത് എന്താണെന്ന് കൂടുതലൊന്നും എനിക്കറിയില്ല, പക്ഷേ എനിക്ക് നീ അഴിമതി ചെയ്യില്ലെന്ന് വാഗ്ദാനം തരണം, ഒരിക്കലും ആ പാപം നീ ചെയ്യരുത്- മോദി ഓർത്തെടുത്തു. ഈ വാക്കുകൾ തന്നെ ശരിക്കും സ്വാധീനിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്നും മോദി അഭിമുഖത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.
